About

Where slow living turns green

The Slow Garden grew from a simple wish — to live in step with nature, where time moves gently and the day is measured in shade, birdsong, and the turning of the light.

Where the Slow Deck follows the Padma, the Slow Garden follows the meadow. It carries the same philosophy of unhurried Bangladeshi hospitality into a different landscape: open lawns and fruit trees, brick-and-thatch cottages, a pond that mirrors the evening, and walls hand-painted with leaves and blossom.

It is a place built to slow you down. Nothing here is in a hurry, and you needn't be either.

A companion to the Slow Deck

The Slow Garden and the Slow Deck are sister retreats under The Slow Resorts Limited — two distinct landscapes, one belief that luxury is subtle and nature leads the rhythm. One follows the river; the other, the green.

Rooted in place

Built and tended with care, the garden is shaped by Bangladeshi warmth — clay-pot meals, hand-painted walls, and the easy generosity of a place that wants you to stay a while longer.

Made for families

Open lawns to run, a pool to cool off in, a playground for the little ones, and quiet corners for the grown-ups. The garden holds every pace at once.

Slow by design

No clamour, no rush. Just meadow paths, the shade of old trees, and time enough to do very little — beautifully.
